Andrea Cardona is a Guatemalan adventurer and a Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI) fellow. She made history as the first woman from Central America and the Caribbean to summit Mount Everest, a feat she accomplished in May 2010. She is also the first Latin American person to complete the Explorer's Grand Slam, which consists of reaching the North and South Poles skiing, as well as climbing the Seven Summits. As a seasoned guide, she has led diverse groups around 60 different countries, through Asia, Africa, and the American continent. Today, Andrea resides in the charming city of Antigua, Guatemala, where she operates The Altitude Company, a dynamic enterprise dedicated to fostering motivation and leadership, and facilitating team integration services for corporations.
